Call for Officers
Hello,
Are you interested in participating as an officer for Woodland Park Neighborhood Association? Please read the following descriptions for each office of the Executive Committee as described in our current bylaws:
President: The President shall preside over general meetings of membership and the Executive Committee meetings, and shall be the ex-officio member for all standing and special committees. The President shall act as the official spokesperson for the Association.
Vice President: The Vice President shall assist the President in the performance of their duties and shall perform all duties of the President in the event of absence or disability. The Vice President shall be responsible for recruiting and maintaining new membership and work with the Treasurer to maintain membership records.
Secretary: The Secretary shall keep minutes of all meetings of membership, special and Executive Committees, prepare correspondence, keep permanent records, and prepare and distribute notice of all meetings and special events.
Treasurer: The Treasurer shall receive and disburse all funds as directed by the Executive Committee. The Treasurer shall submit and present a bi-annual written financial statement to the membership at the May and November monthly Association meeting. The Treasurer shall be prepared to give up-to-date verbal financial report at each monthly general meeting of the Association.
We are currently looking for a Treasurer, but if another office calls your attention, please reach out and submit your nomination. Terms are for 2-years with option for reelection, and although the descriptions sound very official, we are learning as we go and your input on how you could perform your duties is valuable.
Please note we are also looking for volunteers that could help in our Events Committee for the summer picnic and holiday party.
